MY ASSIGNMENT REPORT:

Firstly, I will start by saying thank you MS Shahrinaz for your good work as my lecturer. This report its contents are:

.The process and methods I used.
.The technologies/tools I learn and use and its advantage/disadvantage.
.The experience/difficulty in debugging the HTML codes in getting the output I want.
.The experience/difficulty in searching/choosing the suitable web hosting server.
.The experience/difficulty in uploading files to web server.
.The process and experience/difficulty in creating a blog and how to use a blog.

The process and method I go through to get the whole work done, actually it was not easy at all. Because first I created an account with blogger, and bravehost.com but all of a suddenly I forgot the password of my two accounts, which result to a broke down to work on my profile page. Because I can’t log in again, I decided to create another account as well as to meet up the task because time was not on my side. But despite the problems I had but me and my group member joins our ideology together to make this assignment workout perfectly …

The technologies and tools I learn and used during this assignment was that I borrow a HTML Text-Book from my friend who has done this course pass semester as well as to support my knowledge of understanding, and other technologies I used or learn was

.TO ADD A GADGET.
.To ADD A TEMPLATE.
.I CREATE MY OWN GADGET.

I learn how to create an account with free website, and also how to create an html page, and a blog. In reality, I have learned a set of things that I can’t mention them all.

The advantages of this technologies and its tools is that it helps to better and give colors to your HOME PAGE; example of this technology are gadget and template, gadget is the best way to search for information through the internet, it is the easier way of communication, it is more effective way of learning through educational computer programs, and it is more accessible. While template are use to select or set your HOME PAGE colors. In addition to this you can also create your own template by selecting you best colors.

Some disadvantages of this technologies/tools is that when uploading gadget or files to the web server the internet speed becomes very slow, and it will result to turning off my system.

Difficulty I face when debugging the HTML codes to get the output I wanted was the most difficult part of this assignment, because after coding the HTML my output refused to display what I wanted .which means I have to check for my errors.

My experience and difficulty I face when searching for a suitable web hosting server was that I didn’t really know much about http://www.bravehost.com but I know the procedure was not difficult compare to other part of this assignment, because it was not hectic.

My experience and difficulty I face when uploading a file to the web server was one of the most difficult part of this assignment, because when uploading a file to the web server sometimes the internet will be slow it will cause my system to be hanging in this process I will lost my files.

The process and experience/difficulty that I face when creating a blog was also one of the difficult part of this assignment, for example when I was creating a blog I had a problem with my URL; it was being mix-up because I wanted my URL to be http:www.okey4love.blogspot.com and not http://wwwokey4lovecom-okey4love.blogspot.com . So I find it difficult to know the different between both URL.

In conclusion; what I learn about this assignment is not only doing the assignment alone, but it is a great achievement to me, and also has a student of Business Information System (BIS). In addition to this I have learn how to create a blog account, and also how to create an HTML page using Notepad. In reality, this assignment has increase my knowledge of understanding, I can now code with notepad without anyone assisting me on it.

Thing I would do differently if I am going to work on this assignment again is that
-I would like to build my own website page, where friends and families can meet and chat with each other.
-I would also like to go into advertising of products, schools, and buildings using my blog.

How Does Solar Energy Work

Solar power is an area of interest for many people who are concerned about the environment we live in and the dwindling supply of natural resources available to us. When searching for alternatives to fossil fuels, this is the topic that comes up most often. For those who are just beginning their research into solar energy and it’s possible benefits to home owners, this article is a great place to start and should provide you with some valuable information. As the heading suggests this is a brief description of solar energy, and if you have ever asked how does solar energy work this is a good general introduction. This article will cover photovoltaic cells and how they create electricity.

Solar power system technology has advanced a great deal since its beginnings due largely to demand. A photovoltaic cell is a device that generates electricity by reacting to the suns light rays. To generate a useful amount of electricity, many of these cells are combined to create a solar panel. These panels are also known as photovoltaic cells, solar cells or solar panels.

A solar panel typically generates 12 volts DC (Direct Current). These panels can be used individually or they can be wired together in what is called a solar array. The number of panels used in the array is determined by a number of factors such as sunlight but here are many other factors that determine solar power effectiveness.

Some factors that determine how well solar energy works

  • The amount of electricity required
  • How much sunlight is available
  • Weather conditions - the conditions on any given day
  • Climate - Weather patterns over a long period of time. Early morning fog for example.
  • Location
  • Pollution (smog)
  • Air Density

In most situations, you will require some way to store the power that is generated by your solar system. This is accomplished with batteries. Batteries will store the electricity until it is needed. In some areas homeowners who remain connected to the electrical utility grid can sell surplus electricity that they generate back to the electric company for credits. During high demand or low supply times these credits can be used to buy electricity back from the utility, everybody wins.

What is a font?

A font is a combination of these:
  • A typeface or style of printable characters
  • A group of characters for selection (described in Font Architecture)
  • A map that determines which of the selected characters is to be printed or displayed (described in Font Architecture)
A font can include letters, numbers, punctuation marks and special characters. To add variety to your documents, you can include fonts of various sizes, styles, weights, and orientations

What is a Notepad?

Notepad is a simple text editor included in all versions of Microsoft Windows since Windows 1.0 in 1985.

What is html?

HTML, an acronym for Hyper Text Markup Language, is the predominant markup language for web pages. It provides a means to describe the structure of text-based information in a document—by denoting certain text as links, headings, paragraphs, lists, etc.—and to supplement that text with interactive forms, embedded images, and other objects. HTML is written in the form of "tags" that are surrounded by angle brackets. HTML can also describe, to some degree, the appearance and semantics of a document, and can include embedded scripting language code (such as JavaScript) that can affect the behavior of Web browsers and other HTML processors.

What is a bluetooth?

Blue tooth is an open wireless protocol for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices, creating personal area networks (PANs). It was originally conceived as a wireless alternative to RS232 data cables. It can connect several devices, overcoming problems of synchronization.
